Important Message

Note that the primary shipping line operating between Melbourne – Tasmania currently has a ship in Dry-Dock for maintenance, which has halved the sea freight capacity inbound to Tasmania.
As we’re now restricted to a sailing that occurs every 2nd day instead of daily, freight backlogs and delivery delays are occurring that are beyond the direct control of Allied Express.
These restrictions and delays are impacting all carriers. We’re continuing to explore all other options to get freight across to Tasmania, but the backlog is significant, and could take up to 3-4 weeks to clear once the full capacity is restored in early Feb.
