Please note that the primary shipping line operating between Melbourne – Tasmania currently has a ship in Dry-Dock for maintenance, which has halved the sea freight capacity inbound to Tasmania.
As we’re now restricted to a sailing that occurs every 2nd day instead of daily, freight backlogs and delivery delays are occurring that are beyond the direct control of Allied Express.
These restrictions and delays are impacting all carriers. We’re continuing to explore all other options to get freight across to Tasmania, but the backlog is significant, and could take up to 3-4 weeks to clear once the full capacity is restored in early February.

Further updates will be provided on our website as any new information comes to hand.

At Allied Express we care about Australian Communities, the importance of sport and pathway opportunities to get them to the big stage.

Allied Express has partnered with the Inner West Bulls Basketball Association for the past few years & proud to continually witness the development of the NBL1 Women’s and Men’s Teams.

The NBL1 Basketball League gives these athletes the chance to challenge themselves against Australian representatives, such as the likes of Lauren Jackson.

“It isn’t about winning or losing when you come up against Lauren, it is the fact that we get to be on the same court as her and compete.” says Inner West Bulls.

The Basketball Women’s World Cup 2022 continues this week with our Juniors back court side to stand with the Australian Opals as the take on their opponents for their finals journey.
