The Role
Reporting to the State Sales & Customer Manager, you’ll drive revenue growth by acquiring new business and will be expanding our customer base in the transport sector. This role is perfect for an experienced sales professional who wants to either take on a new experience in transport or for a seasoned expert wanting to be part of a new journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition to exceed sales targets
- Build and develop relationships with prospective customers
- Create tailored solutions to win new business
- Identify and introduce new market segments
- Maintain and report on sales pipeline and results
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within road express freight solutions or related industries, with exposure to sectors such as Retail, Automotive, or Medical. Familiarity with the challenges of handling large and bulky goods is a plus.
- Proven success in generating and closing new business
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, with a “hunter” mentality and goal-oriented focus
- Excellent communication and pipeline management skills
